Hello World!

Ok, so here's my first post, er blog.  I really have no business doing this, but I do have a couple of reasons:

1. I'm getting older and I can't remember stuff like I used to.  I'm using this kinda like a journal that my 7th grade English teacher made us keep.
2. Someday my kids will get a kick out of reading this.  I'm sure this page will be stored off in Google perpetuity forever.
3. Because I'm a nerd and nerd's do nerdy thinks like post stuff on blogs.  

So, why are you reading this?  Probably to kill a few minutes at work, I'd guess. Or maybe you just can't get enough of my commentary from other media, like my facebook, email, or text messages. Or maybe you actually are interested.  Whatever your reason, Willkommen.

I went to the World Series this year.  The Rangers lost the series in 5 games. The SF Giants have good pitching. Neftali Feliz just won the AL Rookie of the Year.
I went to Lambeau field a couple of weeks ago.  People in Green Bay are too nice for their own good.  They make people in Birmingham, AL seem mean.  I still have a hard time believing a town the size of Denton has a NFL team.  Met some new friends.  That's always a good thing.

I also went to Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, and Sydney.   Maybe I'll write about that one day.
